This weekend would have been the Ottawa Asian Festival which has been postponed until next year. I would like to take this time to encourage people to come out and support businesses in this area.
Ottawa artist, An Nguyen started painting this 6 months ago and it celebrates Chinatown in Ottawa.
Come by and support local businesses. They could sure use your help.
To me, Art is not just Paintings and such, I like to think of the following as functional art. They are handmade by Burak Wallclocks. They also make tables and more! They have a store on Etsy where you can check out all of the other amazing items they have handcrafted with wood and resin!!
Also be sure to follow them on Instagram! Some AMAZING pieces!
“Come paint with us! Get cozy at home and grab a snack and a drink in a cup that is definitely not paint water. I will be leading you through step by step to create a beautiful milky way galaxy as seen from the light-pollution-free wilderness.” -Kina

Orange Art Gallery is pleased to announce that we will be opening up our large tropical patio for drinks Thursday July 2nd from 6-10pm! As this day marks the opening of our much anticipated annual exhibition of popular artist Gwendolyn Best in “Stories of Cats”, we will also open the doors for people to enjoy this collection of new works!
We will limit the number of guests in the gallery at one time and we ask everyone to practice safe physical distancing which includes wearing a mask while inside the gallery. The weather forecast calls for a beautiful summer evening so drop in to enjoy a drink on the patio and enjoy some art.
Stories of Cats
By Gwendolyn Best
Some of my cats have wandered far afield. They are in the country – in the woods, on a farm, far from home. There are stories behind these adventures but the cats are not talking. Where do they go and what do they do? These paintings are compositions of line and circle, placement of colours and pictures of cats.
